What tools are needed to build the DIY version?

All you need are the basic tools of an experienced DIY enthusiast:

• sets of spanners, pipe spanners, hexagonal spanners, pliers, mallets, various screwdrivers, screwdriver bits, circlip pliers, vice pliers, gasket wrenches
• supplies such as rags, lithium grease, cleaner, WD40 oil
• if you're doing the electrical work yourself: multimeter, wiring kit and various connectors.

An Excel file is supplied with the order to check the tools and parts you may be missing.
