Why use a belt tensioner?

The choice of options depends on the use and the user. However, the belt tensioner adds a real plus to the sensations because it is in direct contact with the body and greatly enhances immersion by adding a significant haptic component (7th DOF).

Like the rest of the platform, it is fully programmable in the open source control software supplied, enabling all or part of simulation experience to be fine-tuned.
